It has been a very successful 2014 London Boat Show for the well known British luxury yacht builder, Fairline Boats. The company has reported strong forward sales across the range.
The shipyard showcased nine yacht models at its stand, including Fairline’s exciting new 48ft models, as well as an all-new concept boat.
Highlights of the show included the launch of the third model in Fairline’s 48ft range – the Targa 48 GRAN TURISMO yacht – which was displayed alongside the Squadron 48 and the Targa 48 OPEN. Fairline also celebrated a major milestone at the show with the launch of its 100th Squadron 78 yacht model, one of the brand’s most successful and iconic luxury motor yachts.
A new feature of the stand, Fairline’s Concept Cinema, gave customers, show visitors and industry guests a glimpse of the future of motor boating with the Fairline Esprit concept boat. The concept incorporates sustainable materials in construction and design, without compromising Fairline’s class-leading styling and performance. The new-look Fairline stand also featured a hospitality area, where guests were invited to relax and enjoy a drink.
James Robinson, Fairline’s Sales Director, commented: “Fairline has enjoyed another successful London Boat Show, an event we are committed to supporting. This is one of the main highlights of the year for the leisure marine industry and an event that strengthens the UK’s position as a major destination for buyers of luxury yachts. Sales have been excellent at the show with the final total due to exceed 2013, further extending our forward order book into late 2014 for some models. The Concept Cinema caused quite a stir and was a very popular feature of the stand throughout the show. Fairline would like to thank the BMF and National Boat Shows team for their continued hard work and we look forward to returning in 2015.”
