Taken place in the lovely Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Palma in Spain on the first weekend of May, this year’s Palma Superyacht Show was a great success for Sunseeker Mallorca. The company was represented with a stand in the super yacht sector.
The sunny weather and the casual Mediterranean atmosphere of the Palma harbor was one reason for the good atmosphere among exhibitors and visitors. The Super Yacht Show scored with its new look, the sales team was positively impressed by the maritime atmosphere and announced promising contacts made through the event.
The remarkable model of the new and biggest Sunseeker ever built, the 155 Yacht superyacht Blush was for sure a highlight of the Sunseeker stand, inviting many people to stop by. The 155 Yacht had just recently been handed over to its new owner, Eddie Jordan. The success of the 155 feet yacht speaks for itself, two more have already been ordered.
Additional shine was delivered to the event with the visit of the water-enthusiastic Spanish Queen Sofia, who took up the opportunity to make herself a picture of the still young boat show.
“Through the new concept of the Super Yacht Show, we were able to gain many interesting contacts”, says Torsten Sieckmann, Director of Marketing & Sales at Sunseeker Mallorca.
However, these events, as Sieckmann points out, are likely important for the company to be used as a platform to communicate and share information with many of the long-term customers. Due to the generally positive response, and the potential of the show to establish itself in the coming years as one of the top events in the super yacht sector in Europe, Sunseeker Mallorca is already looking forward to its participation next year.
Since 2012 Sunseeker Germany operates under the name Sunseeker Mallorca on the Balearic Island. Just recently the Sunseeker Germany AG announced that it will shift its longtime headquarter from Hamburg to Mallorca, Port Adriano and Neustadt/Holstein in Germany. This change will not only allow the company to be even closer to the customers, but also offers greater business flexibility. The completion of the new offices in Port Adriano, which is associated with the relocation, is planned for this summer.
