Always open to customer suggestions, Sunreef Yachts has developed a new model, the Sunreef 58 Sailing, as its big surprise for the coming year. The composite infusion moulds are ready and the first unit is scheduled for launch at the very beginning of 2011.
The Sunreef 58 is a response to the many enquiries Sunreef get from customers who appreciate Sunreef’s construction quality, customized luxury finishing’s and sailing performance but who want to sail in smaller and lighter boats without crew. Built in high-tech composite materials via vacuum infusion, the Sunreef 58 will be a luxury and performance yacht with comfortable sleeping for 8-9 guests accommodated in 4-5 cabins, depending on the layout chosen by the customer.
The internal wet deck space of the Sunreef 58 will feature a galley, a navigation station and a dining area. The cabins will be located below decks and will have private bathrooms. The cockpit will house storage space and a guest lounge. The main helm station and seating area will be located on the flybridge, which is a trademark of Sunreef. This deck will also have a large sunbathing lounge. As for the interior finishing, Sunreef’s in-house design team are the perfect people to assist any customers who wish to add their personal touch to the yacht.
Even though the Sunreef 58’s LOA is just under 60 feet, there will be no shortage of space in the engine rooms, neither in the cabins- a huge advantage shared by all Sunreef yachts.
In tandem with the introduction of this new model, Sunreef has added an extra two feet to the length of its popular Sunreef 62 model to create the Sunreef 64 with no additional cost to the previous version. As a result of these small changes, Sunreef now has a range of semi-customized sailing catamarans available in three sizes (58, 64 and Sunreef 70 feet), depending on the customer’s sailing plans (crew/no crew, round-the-world trips, family charter, luxury charter, etc).
Sunreef Yachts after the Cannes and Monaco boat shows 2010
In Cannes, Sunreef Yachts exhibited their first superyacht ever, the Sunreef 102 IPHARRA which enchanted all lucky visitors aboard. The yacht is now in Turkey for charters and will be heading to the Caribbean shortly. The Monaco Yacht Show was a great opportunity Sunreef Yachts to introduce the new power superyacht that Sunreef’s design office developed for a special client’s request. The 45 meter Sunreef Power is a one of the kind vessel.
