The exclusive news on the build process of the all-new Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht by Sunseeker was revealed earlier this year. In June 2013, Sunseeker 101 Sport motor yacht hull #1 left the mould and was about to enter the second stage of production. Four months later, interior work is well-and-truly underway, and the 101 Sport Yacht, sold by Sunseeker London, is taking shape. Some pictures of the yacht under construction, complete with some never seen before CGIs, have been kindly provided by Harry Bristow-Holmes, Sales Broker for this particular 101.
Production at the Sunseeker International shipyard is on schedule with delivery of Sunseeker 101 Sport superyacht hull #1 expected in May 2014. At this stage, work on the unique Sports Fly is about to be started, whilst the engine fit-out has been completed. All lower deck glazing is in place, including the trademark Sunseeker panoramic hull windows, in addition to the saloon doors.
A customised Williams 505 Tender has been specified, complete with carbon fibre rubber tubes in keeping with the yacht’s unique colour scheme, and will be built in early 2014. Physical launch of the Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht is anticipated for early February 2014, allowing for 8 weeks of testing in Poole harbour prior to her delivery for the Monaco Grand Prix.
The full specification has been completed by her owner, with final amendments now being confirmed. Boasting over 280 modifications to the standard factory specification (which is in fact a bigger specification than the current 155 Yacht that is in build) this particular 101 Sport Yacht is certainly going to be very special.
