Sunseeker International is celebrating the nomination of its striking ‘155 Yacht’ motor yacht Blush in the ShowBoats Design Awards 2015. Superyacht Blush has been announced as one of the finalists in the Exterior Design and Styling Award category, thanks to her sublime exterior lines as well as overall design.
The award ceremony now in its sixth year recognises the creativity behind the most innovative and inspiring new yachts. What’s more Sunseeker’s nomination has been made all the more special by the fact that the stunning tri-deck Blush yacht is the largest yacht the British manufacturer has ever made.
Commissioned by Eddie Jordan on behalf of the Jordan Family trust, Blush superyacht is the epitome of sophistication. The biggest project ever undertaken by the British luxury yacht manufacturer, ‘Blush’ is of particular significance to Sunseeker as it takes the concept of a series build with personal customisation even further. The modular build methodology allowed Formula 1 star Eddie Jordan to have a direct input on the interior design and layout of the yacht, as well as on the superstructure of the yacht.
The accommodation on board luxury yacht Blush is the ultimate in style and luxury for up to 10 guests. Two VIP cabins can be found on the main deck, both of which feature ceiling to floor glass windows, which create a dramatic feeling of light and space, as well as offering spectacular views. In addition the forward lower deck area can accommodate up to 10 crew with a separate captain’s cabin located on the Upper Deck next to the wheelhouse.
While the spacious and stylish private accommodation is clearly one of the most appealing features of Sunseeker’s flagship yacht, it is the expanse of entertainment space which makes it truly stand out. The upper deck alone features a huge sky lounge which can be dedicated to private entertainment. While the main deck features a large saloon and formal dining area.
The level of sophistication found in Blush yacht’s interior is further enhanced by its unique design palette, which blends grey, blue, green tones to create an overall chic aqua feel.
Such innovative design is extremely intricate and the attention to detail in the 155 Yacht is second to none. The team at Poole have worked closely with Eddie Jordan to ensure his personality is reflected in the design but have also made sure that the trademark Sunseeker standards are evident throughout.
James Hall, Superyacht Sales Manager at Sunseeker International, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have been short listed in the Show Boats Design Awards as it is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Sunseeker team. ‘Blush’ was an entirely new concept for us and the biggest project we have ever undertaken, so it means to a lot to be recognised for our innovation.”
Winners of the ShowBoats Design Awards will be announced on 23rd February.
