This month saw the prestigious UK luxury yacht builder, Sunseeker International, reveal its highly anticipated all-new global website, just in time ahead of the International Boat Show season.
The new site has been totally redesigned to offer Sunseeker customers a fully immersive experience of the world-renowned Sunseeker brand and its full range of luxury motor yachts. The new site has been designed using the very latest online architecture, but more importantly uses the latest design technology to deliver high impact, high resolution imagery and videos.
The site has been designed to revolve around Sunseeker’s full range of stunning yachts. As visitors open the site for the first time they will be greeted by full screen, edge-to-edge photography which delivers maximum impact from the very start.
The global Sunseeker website will initially be rolled out in English and will see versions in nine languages rolled out throughout 2014 – reflecting the truly global nature of the Sunseeker customer base.
Stewart McIntyre, Managing Director at Sunseeker, commented: “Sunseeker’s global reputation is built on the highest possible design and engineering so it’s vital our website reflects this attention to detail in every way. We have worked tirelessly to ensure our new site provides our customers with the level of detail they demand, while captivating their imagination with stunning photos and videos.”
The new site has been built to work across all platforms, from tablets to laptops, and iPhones to desktop PCs. Stewart McIntyre continued: “Our customers are always on the move, so the Sunseeker site needs to perform on mobile devices equally as well as it does on laptops and desktops.”
The new site structure and design will be rolled out across the 100+ Sunseeker dealer network over the coming months, ensuring the brands look and feel is consistent across all online customer touch points. In addition the new site features a fully interactive dealer search tool, which integrates with Google Earth to deliver a truly immersive customer experience.
Finally, the new site has been fully integrated with social functionality, from in-bound feeds and links from the Sunseeker Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels, through to all major social tools to encourage sharing across the growing social networks.
