The currently running PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014 has been marked by some exciting new yacht launches, celebrity appearances, unique Sunseeker events, as well as warm and sunny weather. With a busy weekend ahead of them, Sunseeker looks back at the event so far.
Claudia Winkleman, Eddie Jordan and Robert Braithwaite combined for a stunning reveal of the brand new Manhattan 65 and 86 Yacht on the Sunseeker stand.
A total of 11 Sunseeker motor yachts are on display in Southampton, from the Portofino 40 through to the largest vessel at the boat show, the 28 Metre Yacht “AUTUMN”, available to luxury yacht charter through Sunseeker Charters. Interest across the range has been very high, with an impressive number of deals agreed on the stand for the Sunseeker London Group.
The Sunseeker stand has given the Sunseeker London Group an excellent opportunity to work with a number of luxury brand partners, including a collaboration with The White Company for ‘hotel chic’ interiors onboard the Manhattan 55, a gorgeous display of Bloom Gin and VIP receptions for property specialists, Savills UK.
Meanwhile, some fantastic events supported by the Sunseeker London Group have been taking place outside of the show, including the Crème de la Crème Ball in Cheshire, attended by Sunseeker London and Sunseeker Cheshire, and the upcoming Sunseeker International U Support Charity Ball this evening at the Grand Harbour Hotel.
Longstanding Sunseeker shipping suppliers Peters & May, located in Southampton, have committed to supporting Breast Cancer Clinical Trials (BCCT) through a number of initiatives in 2014. This year’s boat show celebrated 3 of those initiatives, the Peters & May Shooting Challenge, the Pink Lashing fundraising donations and the Royal Parks Half Marathon in which PR & Marketing Director Laura Harrison, will be taking part.
Social media activity has been buzzing during the week, as Sunseeker continues here in Southampton, and looks ahead to the Monaco Yacht Show on Wednesday 24th.
