Sunseeker International has announced that Raymarine products will be fitted as standard on Sunseeker’s range – from the Superhawk 43 Portofino 47 through the Portofino, Manhattan, Predator, and Superhawk Yacht models – up to the 30 Metre Yacht. Breadth of product range, global service and support, and product development cited as key decision-making factors.
Previously offered as a customer option, this agreement sees Raymarine’s C Series Widescreen, E Series Widescreen HybridTouch™, HD Digital Radar, instruments, autopilots and VHF radios now fitted as standard on new boat builds. Sunseeker customers have the choice to select their preferred electronics suite from the Raymarine range, and can elect to upgrade and personalise as required. A typical upgrade would be Raymarine’s new T Series range of thermal imaging cameras, which have already been specified for a Sunseeker 88 Yacht currently in build.
One of the key reasons for selecting Raymarine, says Sunseeker, was the breadth of product range, offering everything from onboard safety, entertainment, electronics, navigation and communication products – all of which are fully integrated. In addition, Raymarine’s comprehensive systems enable owners to personalise their boats, choosing their own configurations and upgrades as required. Exemplary customer service and worldwide dealer, support and service facilities were also required to fully satisfy the high standards required by both Sunseeker and its customers.
Nick Lean, Technical Specification Manager of Sunseeker said, “We are delighted to be able to offer Raymarine as a standard fit. Over the years Raymarine has proved to be the most popular upgrade with our dealers worldwide and this is down to their superb local service and the fact that Raymarine offers a fully integrated package that is simple to use.”
