A new chapter is market in the partnership between the well known and prestigious luxury yacht builder Sunseeker and the leading interior and styling studio Design Unlimited, thanks to the launch of the new 28m Motor Yacht and the Sunseeker Predator 53 yacht at the 2012 London International Boat Show.
Design Unlimited has been responsible for the interior design of 15 Sunseeker motor yacht models in recent years, including the 30 Metre Yacht and the Predator 130 yacht, and the two latest models once again demonstrate the ability of Mark Tucker and his team to maximise the comfort and utility of the spaces available using furnishings and textures that are both welcoming and stimulating.
The result is public spaces and private cabins that hold their appeal over time, and whose natural tones promote calm and relaxation whether the yacht is in the tropics or more temperate climes.
“We are very privileged that our work with Sunseeker has allowed us to work on an exceptional variety of motoryachts, both in terms of size and style,” said Design Unlimited’s Mark Tucker, “and to such a high standard of fit‐out. These two latest projects once again gave us the opportunity to create interiors that are contemporary but at the same time will not date. We are confident that they will give their owners many years of enjoyment.”
While well‐known as a leader in interior design and styling for superyachts, Design Unlimited has a thriving practice working with a number of leading builders of production and semi‐custom boats,
both motor and sail. Clients include top brands such as Sunseeker and Bavaria, and the studio has been responsible for the interiors on models from Moody, Fjord and Grand Banks. As well as its innovative and appealing approach to styling, the team at Design Unlimited utilises state‐of‐the‐art software to create detailed designs that can be fed straight into the production process, thereby shorting development times and delivering efficiency gains on the factory floor.
