Superyacht designer Alejandro Crespo has released details on his latest superyacht, an 80m/262ft superyacht named SUNSET.
This attention-grabbing motor yacht has a strong modern silhouette, with features including a plumb bow and uninterrupted lines in the superstructure and hardtops running from the foredeck to the stern. Smoked glass windows fit seamlessly into the effect while providing panoramic views and natural light to guests within the interiors.
The space on the Portuguese decks and bow balances perfectly with the aft decks to ensure that everyone on board has plenty of places to sunbathe or socialise while enjoying privacy.
The concept images show a large transom door that folds down to become a deep swim platform, revealing a spacious beach club within the lower deck stern that is fitted with a bar and spa pool. The bulwarks on the port and starboard sides fold down to create side terraces and open up this recreational even more to the scenery.
A 7m long, 3m wide glass-bottomed swimming pool is the centrepiece of the main deck aft, around which there is an abundance of sun loungers, sofa seating and a lavish bar. The shaded lounge area is located close to the doors to the spa, within which there is a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and a sauna.
Alfresco dining options are available on the upper deck and the sundeck, with the former presenting guests with a grand table seating up to 12 while L-shaped seating follows the shape of the stern for after-dinner conversation under the stars. The sundeck meanwhile offers a more informal setting for meals and a large aft sunpad is the perfect place to rest and take in the views after a workout in the sundeck gym. A waterfall effect on glass panels enhances the ambiance of the sundeck to create a tranquil escape.
The bow has a helipad for commuting and taking in a bird’s eye view of the location and luxury yacht SUNSET can accommodate up to 16 guests and 30 crew, who receive ample quarters with some cabins boasting en-suite facilities.
