The new 2010 Holland Jachtbouw super yacht CALLIOPE is one of the latest yachts to join the charter fleet in the Mediterranean this year. She is currently available for charter in the Mediterranean, where she will spend the winter months as well, before attending the 2011 Genoa Charter Show in May.
Her luxurious exterior design and naval architecture reflect the immaculate work by Langan Design Associates. Calliope yacht’s beautiful interior was designed by Rhoades Young in collaboration with the Owners, with optimum layout for formal or relaxing entertainment. She is showcasing top quality weathered limed oak, her interior contrasts classical architecture with a range of carefully chosen modern furniture. One of the most dramatic features is a pair of offset reverse spiral staircases, which provide a dynamic connection to the three decks. Views up through the sweeping undersides of the steps make this a striking centrepiece to the yacht.
Calliope superyacht’s main deck consists of a very comfortable lounge and dining area, with hidden sliding Shoji screen, which divides the two spaces when more intimate dining is required. The full beam owner’s cabin is situated on the main deck, offering a private library, full beam lounge area and separate bathrooms with dressing rooms. This wonderful area is filled with natural light and has a strong visual connection with the outside world.
The material used predominantly on the bridge deck is teak, with the sky lounge making the most of the full beam. Once the large sliding doors are opened to the aft deck of the motoryacht CALLIOPE, the whole deck and saloon unite in an indoor- outdoor zone, making it ideal for informal relaxation at anchor.
Another yacht joining the charter market is the 26 metre super yacht JURATA. As well as the superyacht Calliope, she is also available for charter to cruise the coasts of the West Mediterranean. She will stay here for both the winter and summer season. The motor yacht Jurata is a 2007 built yacht by Riva Yachts with accommodation for up to eight guests and a crew of four. She is powered by 2 MTU engines at 2,029HP and her cruising speed is 30 knots.
