Superior Jetties®, an international manufacturer of marine berthing systems, was awarded the ‘2010 Gold Coast Business of the Year’ at the weekend’s annual gala presentation. The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards are in their 15th year and have grown to be recognised as the regions most comprehensive and prestigious awards scheme.
The Superior Jetties team present at the 2010 Gala Award Evening were hoping to win their ‘Manufacturing and Construction’ category. In the fun filled crowd of 500 people this win was realised with great excitement as this was the second time Superior has been the annual winner of this category.
However there was more to come when Mayor Ron Clarke announced the overall ‘Business of the Year Award’ to an “iconic Gold Coast brand – Superior Jetties’. The Award for Superior is recognition of the consistency and growth of the business, based on the Gold Coast for over 20 years, from a field of 54 finalists.
Under the leadership of John and Jackie Hogan Superior Jetties® has expanded from a local domestic market building pontoons to now include marinas and other berthing facilities throughout Australia and internationally. Superior’s international brand recognition and significant investment in research, development and product innovation has facilitated Superior’s ability to provide custom solutions for any berthing need, anywhere in the world.
Completion of the marina at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for the UAE’s 2009 Superyacht show and the first marina in Seoul, Korea are examples of Superior’s growing international accomplishments.
