You might have seen the stunning photos of superyacht Ann G cruising in the smooth waters of Norway. No doubt, she is a real head-turner. The amount of attention she receives is comparable to the largest superyachts in the world. However, she is “just” 50 metres long. What makes her so unique and admired by many? Here is the answer to your question.
To begin with, the whole design and construction process of this vessel took an enormous amount of effort from the highly professional team of engineers and designers. Heesen Yachts, the builder of Ann G worked very closely with her owner. Clifford Denn was appointed to design the exterior profile, and the multiple award-winning design studio Reymond Langton to create the opulent interiors. The hard work has certainly paid off, and this full-custom yacht is an entirely unique vessel.
Indeed, a part of Ann G’s huge success in the yachting community is the fantastic film and a large number of highest quality images by Breed Media that picture every detail of her beauty.
Clifford Denn put much emphasis on the owner’s strong individuality while combining the “family feeling” that characterises all yachts built by Heesen. Hence, the exterior design features some ruling and dynamic personality along with some extremely refined design elements to make this lady look still sophisticated and elegant on the water.
Interior design features precise and boldly delineated geometric shapes and strong colours attributed to Art Deco theme. Raymond Langton incorporated a plethora of luxurious materials to create a truly rich atmosphere onboard, such Macassar ebony, white onyx, leather and stainless steel, to mention but a few. A breathtaking decor element of Ann G’s interior is the chandelier, which extends over two decks. Once you step on board this superyacht, it is very hard not to fall in love with her!
The elegant styling and beautiful layout of the main deck provide much space for entertainment and dining in style: comfortable seating area is perfect for relaxation and an aperitif before tasting some mouth-watering delights prepared by a professional chef on board. The dining table is another distinctive characteristic of the main salon, as it features an inlaid art panel and artwork by Based Upon on the forward bulkheads.
The exclusive styling of the owner’s master suite tells us that this superyacht underwent an enormous amount of work incorporating the owner’s vision and high professionalism of the design team. Located on the main deck suite features a large bedroom with his and her changing rooms, a large bathroom and a private office. Complex deco motif inlaid into the foot of the bed, and geometric stone mosaic artwork in the bathroom add more personality to this space.
Tastefully appointed guest staterooms were also designed using a unique palette of colours, artworks, leather and fabrics. Guest accommodation comprises of three beautiful double cabins and one twin.
Parchment wall panels, luxurious fabrics and lots of natural light create an intimate atmosphere in the sky lounge located on the bridge deck. Contemporary beach deck has everything required for relaxation and well-being: gym equipment, steam room, bar and seating area are available for the guests at all times.
In 2016 Ann G was the finalist of the Boat International Media’s ShowBoats Design Awards in the following categories: Exterior Design & & Styling Award – Motor Yacht below 500GT, Interior Design Award – Motor Yacht below 500GT and Displacement Motor Yachts Below 500GT of 47m and above. Ann G’s owner was represented by Arcon Yachts during her construction.
