The Italian shipbuilder Cantiere delle Marche has sold the 42m luxury superyacht Explorer 40.22. She was designed inside and out by Tomasso Spadolini, while Hydro Tec created her naval architecture.
The sturdy steel construction of the yacht, as well as the proven high-tech elements, have been used to create this reliable and comfortable luxury vessel. The interior living spaces feature functional and elegant interior suitable for family cruising. One of the owner’s requirements was to create lavish indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces.
Accommodation is offered for up to 14 guests in 7 staterooms. The owner’s suite is a full-beam size and includes his and her bathrooms. Two VIP cabins are on the main deck forward, and four guest cabins are located on the lower deck. Six crew members are accommodated in on the lower deck, while the captain’s cabin is on the flybridge close to the pilot house.
The power comes from two CAT C32 Acert engines, which provide a top speed of 14 knots, and a cruising speed of 10 knots with a range of 3,500nm.
