Motor yacht Helix, the fifth Feadship in the exclusive F45 Vantage custom series has just been launched at the Feadship Royal Van Lent shipyard. Superyacht Helix shares the phenomenal finish and first-class facilities of her four F45 sister ships, however yacht Helix is the first to feature a Nautical interior.
The Feadship F45 yacht is the result of several years of research and development, designed for yacht owners wanting Feadship luxury yacht quality in the ‘midsize’ motor yacht range without having to invest the higher costs and greater amount of time involved in a fully custom superyacht project.
M/Y Helix, built by Royal Van Lent and measures 44.65 m (146’ 6”). The exterior yacht design of Helix was developed by De Voogt Naval Architects with Sinot Design Associates; the mature and contemporary exterior profile is combined with the unmistakable timeless lines and well-defined curves of a Feadship.
The layout of the F45 series motor yachts features five suites on the main deck, which provides great views for the owners and guests – an unusual layout for a 45m motor yacht. Yacht Helix’s nautical interior theme, features a modern mix of light fabric covered walls framed by mahogany wood.
After completing her sea trials, the Feadship 45m superyacht Helix will cruise to the Mediterranean. Helix will make her debut at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show, from September 21 to 24.
