AkzoNobel brands, Awlgrip as well as International Paint, have partnered with National Marine Suppliers to sponsor a charity Poker Run in Monaco, running on Sunday, September 29, 2013. In order to raise funds for the Calvert Trust, the 130km motorbike rally will take to the French mountains.
Taking in spectacular views, the Poker Run will start in Menton and take a stunning route via Moulinet, La Bolléne-Vésubie, Lucéram to Peile. The route even includes two special stages of the famous Rallye Monte Carlo course.
Craig Dallison, Yacht Marketing Manager EMEA & Russia comments: “With such amazing scenery and many of our industry friends and colleagues already in the region for the Monaco Yacht Show, it will be a great opportunity to get outdoors on our motorbikes, explore the area and support the work of the Calvert Trust. It will be a great way to end the week after a busy show.”
The Calvert Trust is a UK charity that enables people with disabilities, together with their families and friends, to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure. It offers a wide range of adventurous outdoor activities, meaningful challenge and adventure within a framework of safety.
Registration is now open. To register, donate online a minimum €50 direct to the Calvert Trust. Entries are strictly limited to a maximum 52 places. For those who do not have their motorbike in Monaco, there are several local companies hiring bikes.
