The popular Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Montenegro is fast becoming the place to cruise and as such, the Bay of Kotor has become a superyacht playground. With that in mind, Boat International Media is delighted to introduce The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro. This will run at Porto Montenegro from 2 – 5 July 2015.

Building on Boat International’s portfolio of events, and the success of the Rendezvous in Monaco, this unique event gives the opportunity for superyacht owners to make the most of their yachts in the company of like-minded peers. Yachts attending The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro will take up residence at Porto Montenegro, the region’s foremost superyacht marina facility.
When talking of their partnership with Boat International, Managing Director of Porto Montenegro, Oliver Corlette, said “Porto Montenegro is delighted to be working with Boat International to host next year’s Superyacht Rendezvous. With the event moving from Monaco, considered the world’s centre of yachting, to Porto Montenegro, we will firmly position not only the marina, but also Montenegro, as a premiere homeport for superyachts in the Mediterranean”.

Owners attending the event will feel at home surrounded by the venue’s world-class facilities that offer onshore provisions to complement the superyacht lifestyle found onboard. Whilst few marinas in the world can accommodate superyachts, Porto Montenegro currently offers 400 berths for yachts 12–180m. The event welcomes both sailing and motor superyachts from 30m and upwards.
Marina facilities are complemented by the five star Regent Hotel and Residences, shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities and 200 luxury waterfront residences. Beyond this, Porto Montenegro boasts the luxurious Lido Mar Pool Club, around which the nautical season’s must attend opening party will take place as part of The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro social programme.
From this impressive host venue, yachts will partake in a lively ‘yacht hop’ including a champagne reception and entertainment on the dock. Yachts of the Superyacht Rendezvous will explore the Bay of Kotor during a relaxing cruise in company around the stunning waters and guests will be able to enjoy activities and culture presented by the region.
