Benetti has announced that the third hull in the Fast 125′ series, M/Y SKYLER, has won the ‘Best of the Best’ award in the 100-180ft category for 2017 from Robb Report China. Selecting and evaluating the winners was a panel of experienced and specialised experts comprised of the magazine’s readers and editors.
The ‘2017 Best of the Best’ award is considered among the most prestigious in China’s luxury sector and the ceremony was held at The Peninsula Beijing Hotel on the 1st of December.
“We are very honoured to receive this award from Robb Report,” commented Peter Mahony, General Manager of Benetti Asia. “As time goes on, Chinese customers are increasingly discerning with the technology and design of superyachts. We are looking forward to presenting more of our fleet to China, showcasing Benetti’s Italian excellence and state-of-the-art yacht making expertise.”
Luxury yacht SKYLER has an L.O.A. of 38m/125ft is built of carbon composites and designed to the ‘Air’ configuration – one of three layout and styling options Benetti offers its clients for the Fast 125′ series. Her exterior profile is the work of Stefano Righini and her beautiful pale interiors are the work of RWD. Currently available for charter, she is designed with the utmost comfort in mind, offering up to 10 guests 5 spacious cabins, including a Master suite on the upper deck with two side-folding terraces. A beam of 8.5m/28ft and a draft of 2m/7ft ensures that there is plenty of guest space on board while also allowing superyacht SKYLER to enter the shallows surrounding the best beaches of the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
Guests have a wealth of relaxation options at their fingertips throughout the cruise: The beach club is the perfect first impression for guests arriving by tender, while the skylounge converts into a cinema and the bow are fitted with a spa pool and sunpads. Cool, crisp interiors make a welcome escape from the full force of the midday sun.
The most outstanding feature aboard superyacht SKYLER is her AZP C65 Azipull Carbon propulsion system, which is the most technologically advanced on the market and gives exceptional fuel efficiency at low displacement speeds as well as a maximum speed of 22 knots. The Rolls-Royce pod system allows for greater manoeuvrability and performance, and their placement farther back than most 38m/125ft superyachts reduces noise and vibration in the lower deck guest cabins for a more tranquil night’s rest.
