Rossinavi has announced the launch of 63m/207ft luxury yacht UTOPIA IV (ex.PROJECT VECTOR, HULL FR031), on 10th March, in Pisa, Italy. The yacht is being built for a private American owner.
UTOPIA IV is a tri-deck all-aluminium motor yacht with a semi-displacement hull with interior and exterior styling from Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design. The layout reveals a spacious beach club, a Jacuzzi and sunpads on the main deck aft, plus an abundance of seating and sunbathing space on the bow.
“We wanted it to feel like a speedboat, with a minimum draft, efficient in its range of navigation, with an intelligent propulsion and completely tailor-made. At the beginning of the design process, we had to consider the relationship between the engine horsepower necessary to achieve certain speeds and its weight… The overall balance is a particular feature of this boat, an interesting idea which makes Vector unique.” Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi
Inside, there is a large open plan main salon with a bar and forward dining area, and a skylounge that also has a bar. The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests across six cabins, which includes a main deck Master suite with a private lounge and office as well as an en-suite with a spa pool. M/Y UTOPIA IV is designed to accommodate a crew of 13 and has a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
One of the additional design options is a possibility to have a “touch-and-go” helipad, which can be achieved by lengthening the fly deck without jeopardising the clean lines of the yacht’s design. This area, when not in use, becomes a wide space for relaxing and entertaining.
