Currently under build at the well known Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, superyacht Zentric represents the 9th vessel of the 4400 aluminium series. M/Y Zentric features naval architecture by Heesen Yachts with exterior and interior design by Omega Architects. She will offer accommodation in five stunning staterooms to ten guests in total.
The new Heesen 44 metre Zentric yacht has the largest volume for a yacht of this performance. Twin MTU 2,720kW engines combined with unmatched experience in weight reduction and the ultra-efficient Heesen hull means that an increase in space never means a decrease in speed. Motor Yacht ZENTRIC reaches 25 knots, and is the fastest 44 metre yacht on the market.
Using the experience from eight previous 44 metre aluminium yachts, Heesen has designed superyacht Zentric to fully maximise the amount of deck space available. Five separate sunbathing and dining areas include a 45 square metre sundeck, dining on both the upper and main aft decks, and an additional forward area spacious enough for all 10 guests to sit, dine – or simply sunbathe on the full-length, quadruple sunpads – in privacy even when in port.
The transom garage is large enough for a 6.5 metre tender and two jet skis, launched and captured with the Heesen track system. This reduces the need for cranes, which in turn increases space and safety in Zentric’s garage.
What makes a Heesen so distinctive? Custom built in Holland, it is not just a matter of style but more importantly, the contemporary application of engineering: the architecture of performance. Heesen concept has evolved over 30 years and the experience they have accrued is unlike that of any other yacht builder in the world. Building in aluminium to enormously demanding tolerances, the Heesen hull-form is unique – quite simply no other ship shape so optimises the way a yacht moves through water. Meticulous attention to weight reduction results in increased levels of luxury. A Heesen is a Heesen because they are dedicated to one principle: the performance of luxury.
