Yesterday, January 6, 2014, saw broadcaster Suzi Perry attend the currently running London Boat Show to launch an auction to raise money for Breast Cancer Care’s FAB1 Million. Williams Performance Tenders has applied its extensive customisation skills to a unique Turbojet 325 superyacht tender, the centerpiece of the stand at this year’s event. Suzi was on hand to launch the bright pink yacht tender on behalf of the charity.
Suzi joined Williams staff to officially unveil the unique Turbojet 325 superyacht tender, which features a stand-out pink colour scheme. With an auction running throughout the show, it is hoped that the one-of-a-kind tender will raise thousands for Breast Cancer Care’s FAB1 Million project. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK wide charity providing support and tailored information for anyone affected by breast cancer.
The FAB1 Million project is centred around the famous pink Rolls Royce Ghost, and is aiming to raise £1 million through various initiatives, including hiring the famous car. Williams was inspired to create its very own pink tender to assist the campaign, with anyone wanting to take possession of their very own FAB boat able to place their bids on the FAB1 Million eBay page until Sunday 12th January.
Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams, commented: “Not only is our pink Turbojet 325 stunning to look at and a great showcase for our customisation options, but is more importantly a fantastic way for us to assist a very worthy cause. Many of our regular suppliers have helped to make the pink Turbojet 325 a reality, so our thanks go to them as well.
“We’d advise anyone looking to bid on this unique tender to get their bids in early – we’re hoping to raise a considerable amount for Breast Cancer Care through the auction. We were delighted to welcome Suzi Perry to help us officially unveil the boat, and look forward to the considerable interest it is sure to create during the show.”
