The latest SW 100 RS Sailing yacht Mrs Marietta Cube has just been launched by Southern Wind Shipyard. The word ‘Cube’ in the yacht’s name means 3 which is a reference to the fact that Mrs Marietta Cube is the third Southern Wind sailing yacht commissioned by the same passionate owners’ family. The owners’ first yacht was a 72 footer, who then moved to a SW 78, and now the SW100 RS sail yacht Mrs Marietta Cube. The SW100 yacht Mrs Marietta Cube is the fourth unit in the Raised Saloon series launched by Southern Wind.
The SW 100 RS sailing yacht Mrs Marietta Cube follows the launch of her sister ships Yacht Cape Arrow – the third SW 100 RS, sailing yacht Blues – the second SW 100 RS launched by Southern Wind in 2010 and the famous charter yacht Mrs Seven a SW 100 RS launched in 2008.
S/Y Mrs Marietta Cube is a performance cruiser sailing yacht measuring 100 ft. (30.2 metres) in length with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design and concept, interior design and exterior styling by Nauta Design.
