Following a demanding Atlantic Ocean crossing, the SW 100 sailing yacht Cape Arrow by Southern Wind Shipyard has started her Caribbean season, with the 2014 edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 regatta. The striking superyacht Cape Arrow is hosting on board the motivated and enthusiastic Russian sailing team – HIGH SPIRIT.
The RORC Caribbean 600 is one of the most renowned offshore regattas. Starting and finishing in Antigua, it consists of 600 miles around the Caribbean, with competing yachts passing a total of 14 magnificent islands.
The team, who has chartered the Cape Arrow yacht for this special event, is composed of five passionate Russian sailors who are used to racing their 40-foot yacht in the top Mediterranean Regattas. Cape Arrow is bound to be up to the challenge of this famous offshore regatta, thanks to her fantastic performance potential and her highly professional crew.
Some members of the crew boast America’s Cup racing backgrounds, with extensive ocean racing experience. Their presence onboard will ensure that the Cape Arrow superyacht’s potential is fully realised, with the guests ably supported in helming and sail-trimming operations.
The excellent reputation of the luxury yacht Cape Arrow in offshore races (2nd place at 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht, 4th place at 2013 St Barth Bucket Regatta, 3rd place at 2013 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta in Porto Cervo, 1st place at 2012 Southern Wind Trophy) has given team High Spirit great expectations indeed!
Safety, performance, exceptional customer service and luxury are the perfect ingredients for this ‘racing with comfort’ experience on Southern Wind superyacht Cape Arrow.
