Nautor’s Swan has successfully fought off serious global competition this week to win the ‘Asia Boating Award 2011 for Best Production Sailing Yacht’ for the Swan 80 sailing yacht. The Asia Boating Awards are the region’s most established and respected event of its kind which annually receives entries from the world’s leading yacht manufacturers.
Nautor’s Swan attracted the attention of the boating awards, now in its 7th year, with a nomination of the Swan 80 into the highly competitive ‘Best Production Sailing Yacht 51 feet and up’ category. The Swan 80 was pitted against high profile yacht manufacturers from the USA, UK and Turkey including; Friendship Yacht Company,Oyster and Alia Yachts.
After a strict judging process by some of the most esteemed Asian and international marine industry experts, Nautor’s Swan went on to win the overall trophy for this category in an awards ceremony hosted in Hong Kong.
