Following a huge success of the inaugural event in 2013, Premier Marinas is once again collaborating with the three biggest brands in UK motor yacht sales for the British Motor Yacht Show 2014.
From 16th-18th May Premier’s Swanwick Marina on the Hamble will host this unique collaboration between Princess Motor Yacht Sales, Sunseeker Southampton and Fairline Southampton. A world away from the usual frenetic international shows, this is a boutique show where buyers can view the latest models in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Each company will once again be focusing on the best of British motor yachts with a stunning line up of new yachts that will be displayed both onshore and in the water:
From Fairline, the Squadron 42, Squadron 48, Squadron 65, Targa 48, Targa 48GT, and T38 GT.
From Princess, the Princess 52, 88, V39, V52, V57 and the all-new motor yacht S72.
From Sunseeker, the Portofino 40, San Remo, Manhattan 55, Manhattan 63, 68 Sport Yacht and 80 Sport Yacht.
The show is free to members of the public interested in purchasing a yacht from a leading British manufacturer and the show is expecting a 1,000 visitors in the course of the three days.
James Lumley, Sales Manager at Sunseeker Southampton, said: “The British Motor Yacht Show is a great idea to help support the marine industry. The south coast of England is a perfect location for us to showcase the best of British boat design and manufacturing. I am delighted that the three biggest quality brands in the UK have teamed up to make this show a reality.”
Max Whale, Marketing Director at Princess Motor Yacht Sales, said: “This show is designed to provide a platform for a yacht purchase just prior to the beginning of the European yachting season. First and foremost, it is really a ‘best of British’ motor yacht sales and promotion event.”
James Barke, Managing Director at Essex Boatyards, said: “It makes perfect sense for Britain’s premier motor yacht distributors to form an alliance to promote British expertise. In the general context, we are stronger if we work together. Symbolically, this show is hugely significant.”
Pete Bradshaw, Chief Executive at Premier Marinas, said: “Last year’s show was a massive success all round, and we are proud that Swanwick Marina’s beautiful surroundings will once again provide the backdrop for this unique event, bringing together the biggest names in British motor yacht sales.”
