Tankoa has unveiled its latest model, a 53m/174ft planing superyacht named S533 SAETTA, to add to the shipyard’s current line which includes last year’s Tankoa 58 Open.
The S533 SAETTA is comprised of sharp modern lines that run from bow to stern. The main deck features floor-to-ceiling windows for uninterrupted views while guests lounge indoors, and the accommodation on the lower deck also receives an abundance of light with an almost seamless appearance running down the hull.
The exterior main deck is designed to be partially shaded, allowing guests to spend all day at the C-shaped lounge, dine alfresco close to the salon or unwind on the sunpads close to the stern.
Above, the bridge deck aft contains two further generously large sunpads and a forward alfresco dining table, while the foredeck has a lounge integrated into the deck for a clean and spacious appearance.
“Tankoa S533 represents a leap forward, a glimpse of the future,” designer Francesco Paszkowski commented.
“The evolution of the path we have followed up to now with the new project for Tankoa, a yard that we are proud to work with, combines speed with solidity, cleanliness of lines and forms with dynamic lightness. The extensive use of glass was adopted to bring in the sea, and the essentiality characterizing the exterior styling amplifies this zen sensation of an endless horizon,” said Paszkowski.
Three MTU 16V 2000 M94L water jets give the S533 SAETTA a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots with a range of 600 nautical miles. At 17 knots, this doubles to 1,200 miles, making her an excellent vessel for visiting multiple stops within the same region.
