Tankoa Yachts has announced that the third hull in the 50m/164ft all-aluminium S501 model is in the final stages of construction after work resumed following an easing of lockdown in Italy.
The hull was built on speculation and sold in March 2020 and built as a sistership to BINTADOR and luxury charter yacht VERTIGE. Once completed, she will have a black hull and metallic grey superstructure.
The exterior styling comes from Francesco Paszkowski and the interior layout shares similarities to the previous hulls: The main salon is dedicated to lounging and the formal dining area is instead placed on the upper deck. The Master suite on the main deck forward has its own private lounge, and this can be converted into an additional en-suite cabin. Outfitting of the interiors, which were designed by US-based studio Casadio Miami.
The diesel engines will give a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
