50m/164ft superyacht ELETTRA (HULL S502) from Tankoa Yachts has found an owner ahead of her launch in February 2019. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, M/Y ELETTRA is the second hull in the shipyard’s 50m series, the first being luxury yacht VERTIGE, which was delivered in the summer of 2017.
Studio Francesco Rogantin is named as the project manager and Francesco Paszkowski S.r.l is named as both exterior and interior designer along with Margherita Casprini for the latter. Concept images show an almost all-white military styled superyacht featuring uninterrupted lines of contrasting dark windows and a black waterline. A plumb bow finishes off the imposing appearance, adding to the on-trend look.
Inside the rooms use a pale colour scheme in neutral tones that is interrupted with the occasional dark contrast in the tables or surrounding technology.
As with sistership VERTIGE, ELETTRA has separate corridors for guests and crew members to maximise privacy for owners, guests and visitors.
The lower deck will have room for a spacious beach club and gym, plus guest accommodation consisting of three VIP staterooms and two twin cabins. The main deck will host a large main salon, a dining room and a Master suite containing its own office and lounge with fold-down terraces on both the port and starboard sides. The main deck aft exterior has a generous sun pad and a U-shaped sofa surrounding coffee tables as well as a bar.
The upper deck is designed for outdoor relaxation and provides an alfresco dining table to the aft and a forward lounge. Inside, there is a sky lounge and a foredeck solarium, both of which are designed with guest privacy in mind.
The flybridge is fitted with plenty of sofas and sun pads, along with a large Jacuzzi, a bar and tables for outdoor lounging and casual meals.
M/Y ELETTRA features improved hybrid propulsion engines that are capable of four different operational modes: Diesel-electric, hybrid mode, traditional mode and full-speed mode, at which she can reach a top speed of 18 knots. Using diesel-electric mode, she is capable of 4,900 nautical miles at 10.5 knots. In hybrid mode, superyacht ELETTRA is capable of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Luxury yacht ELETTRA is due for delivery in May 2019; three months after her expected launch.
