The Italian “Boutique Shipyard” Tankoa has launched the first model of projects S501 – motor yacht Vertige. She is a 50-metre beautiful vessel, which was conceptualised and designed by Francesco Paszkowski, who also took care of her fantastic interior in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.
The aim was to build a yacht just under 499 GT of internal volume, while still having all the luxury amenities and facilities as found on much larger superyachts.
Accommodation is provided for 12 guests in 6 tastefully appointed cabins. The full-beam owner suite benefits from floor to ceiling windows and hydralic balconies. There are also 3 VIP cabins, one of them is full-beam, and 2 guest cabins on the lower deck. Fantastic amenities onboard include a gymnasium, home cinema, a 7m tender garage, to mention but a few.
The aft deck is equipped with an oversized sunpad, while 3-metre long foldout terraces were designed to keep guests in contact with the sea. Upper deck has a TV salon with a bar, alfresco dining area for 16 guests and a large sofa.
Vertige features a full-displacement aluminium hull, which not only provides a reduced fuel consumption but it is also easy to maintain. The superyacht is powered by 2 MTU engines and reaches a top speed of 16 kn.
Although Tankoa Yachts is a relatively new company, which was established in 2008, it has already seen great success with the 69-metre superyacht Suerte, launched in 2015.
