Superyacht ELETTRA is based on the award-winning luxury yacht VERTIGE, who took Best Exterior Design 125′-164′(38m-50m) at the World Yachts Trophies 2017. However, compared to her sister ship, 50m/164ft ELETTRA will be a true hybrid yacht and have a foredeck equipped with a touch-and-go helipad. In addition, her sleeping arrangement will consist of five staterooms to accommodate 10 guests.
Her interiors are a collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski Design and Margherita Casprini that focuses on natural materials and a light colour scheme with a modern appeal. The lower deck will feature a gym and beach club, three VIP staterooms with king-size beds and two twin cabins in addition to the crew quarters and service areas.
The main deck has excellent flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces, with the latter offering a salon and formal dining area, a galley and a forward Master suite benefitting from fold-down balconies, an office and lounge. The aft cockpit furnished with a U-shaped sofa, coffee table and bar.
The upper deck has a spacious sky lounge with a dining table and connections to the aft and foredeck where there are a solarium and open-air lounge designed with privacy in mind.
The flybridge will be the centre for outdoor living and entertaining, with sofas, sunbeds, alfresco tables and a bar and a large Jacuzzi.
For power, M/Y ELETTRA will be fitted with twin MTU 8V4000M54 (895 kW) and two electric motors (300 kW) driven by two variable speed variable speed generators (250 kW). In her fuel-efficient and quiet Diesel-Electric Mode (DEM), she is capable of a range of 4,900 nautical miles for a top speed of 10.5 knots.
In the hybrid mode with a cruising speed of 12 knots she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles, and in a traditional mode, she can cruise at 17 knots and reach a top speed in excess of 18 knots using both main diesel engines.
Luxury yacht S502 ELETTRA is on schedule for delivery to her Owner in May 2019.
