The first edition of the eagerly awaited Thailand Yacht Show is expected to deliver an outstanding event, set to become a major regional platform for the global superyacht charter industry over the next few years. With more than 40 berths already booked since the launch event hosted by Deputy Prime Minister General Thanasak Patimaprakorn just six weeks ago, the event organisers SYE are looking to expand the space reserved for the Show at Ao Po Grand Marina.
The bookings extend beyond the marina to the air-conditioned pavilions which will be erected on the 2,000m2 concourse behind the new offices and retail units at Ao Po. Visitors to the Show will have a unique opportunity to admire an amazing display of luxury brands, as well as a range of well-known boating brands, luxury yacht charter agents, as well as marine accessories.
The Superyacht Charter section will welcome many of the world’s finest yachts. Confirmed entries are the 41m charter yacht Ocean Emerald, an ultra modern design by Lord Norman Foster, as well as the 51-metre Phinisi, charter yacht Dunia Baru.
