If you love the luxury and style of a large superyacht but wish to move about between desired locations, with exhilaration and speed, there are currently two options worldwide. One is called motor yacht ZEUS and the other is called PURE ONE.
Both superyacht PURE ONE and ZEUS are available for luxury yacht charters in the western Mediterranean this 2010 summer. So how do they stack up in comparison?
PURE ONE
Motor yacht PURE ONE is from the Leopard range, as built by Arno, a well known builder of large open style super sport yachts. Superyacht PURE ONE boasts beautifully balanced, lithe and aggressive exterior lines. She does not look like an enlarged sports yacht, but rather has original exterior design befitting a yacht of her size and status. Everything is in place including large spa pool, aft deck spaces and forward viewing seating. Working well with the exterior symmetry, her contemporary interior is one of sophistication and energy.
ZEUS
Though PURE ONE is huge for a sports yacht, the Mangusta 165 superyacht ZEUS is in fact currently THE largest open style sport motor yacht in the world. Yacht Zeus has a wonderful aft deck and foredeck arrangement, complete with heated Spa Pools pool which can alternate as a sunbathing pad. In addition, the elegant interior of luxury yacht ZEUS is also well concieved and it features neutral fabrics and dark woodwork and a spacious main salon area.
Speed:
Yacht ZEUS boasts a top speed of around 37 knots, which is indeed very exceptional for a 50 metre yacht. Three 4,556 hp MTU diesel engines provide the exhilarating power for this breath taking speed. She can also ‘cruise’ at 24 knots.
The 46 metre Leopard motor yacht PURE ONE has a slightly higher 26 knots cruising speed, but she achieves a slightly lower 30 knots as her top speed. Yacht PURE ONE also uses power from three MTU diesel engines: two are MTU 16V2000M93 1400 Hp and the center one is a MTU 16V4000M93L rated 4615 Hp.
This extraordinary power is efficiently realised with large water jets, enabling these very large motor yachts to reach such speeds.
Accommodation:
The accommodation layout aboard the yacht PURE ONE means she can offer 10 charter guests overnight sleeping (with12 for day cruising). The layout is 5 cabins, with the owner’s master cabin being situated up on the main deck. She has a further 2 double and 2 twin cabins below decks.
Also in a 5 cabin layout, yacht Zeus holds another 2 yacht charter guests overnight, accommodating a maximum of 12. Her 5 well sized staterooms are positioned below decks, including the owner’s cabin, and two have extra Pullman bunks. She also boasts a private office and a separate cinema room.
Price:
ZEUS is currently priced at around € 250,000.00 per week plus expenses on MYBA terms, whereas PURE ONE comes in at between €180,000 and €195,000 a week plus expenses, depending on dates.
