The Reichel/Pugh studio has presented two new superyacht design concepts. The 200’ Classic was inspired by the 200’ Reichel/Pugh-designed Hetairos, which is the most advanced yacht of its type ever built, combining the beauty of a Classic and belying the superlative performance of its modern underbody. The 55m makes no pretenses of being anything other than a modern superyacht that can cruise the oceans in luxury yet thoroughly dominate superyacht regattas. Reichel/Pugh continues to open new paradigms in yacht design providing a truly authentic value and client collaboration second to none.
Design No. 262: 200’ Classic Superyacht
The new design incorporates a contemporary design with outstanding seakeeping. The new study will be conducted based on the hull design to enhance the performance without affecting the classical aesthetics. The aim is to develop an easily driven hull a much reduced displacement, greatly reducing the sailing loads.
