Following a huge success of the 2014 event, the Superyacht Design Symposium will return to the fabulous setting of Kitzbühel in the Tyrolean Alps from February 22 to 24, 2015. Tickets for this prestigious event are on sale now.
Now in its seventh edition, the unique and innovative format of the event continues to draw an elite audience of superyacht owners and some the biggest names in the industry for two days of lively interactive presentation and debate complemented by fun-filled social events in and around the popular ski destination of Kitzbühel.
The 2015 programme, developed with the assistance of an expert panel of superyacht owners and leading designers, includes five varied and diverse Plenary Sessions: Craft and craftsmanship: the superyacht industry at the cutting edge, Exterior or interior design – which comes first? and Responsible sustainable yachting: luxury that is gentle with the environment. Specialist ‘break-out’ workshops will also be available for delegates with specific areas of interest, including Designing with glass as a structural material, AV and design and Designing for security.
Early additions to the panel of speakers for 2015 include leading yacht designers Andrew Winch, Peder Eidsgaard and Jacques Pierrejean, superyacht owners Victor Muller and Bill Duker as well as renowned Italian architect Piero Lissoni and London art dealer Adrian Sassoon, to name a few.
The two-day Symposium programme also provides a host of social occasions and networking opportunities including cocktail receptions, Tyroleon dinners in breathtaking alpine locations, the prestigious ShowBoats Design Awards prize giving and the return of the highly exhilarating Superyacht Design Symposium Ski Cup.
