Growing superyacht traffic in the lovely Italian yacht charter destination – the Gulf of Trieste, together with fostering local economy re-launch, that is the mission of Trieste Yacht Berths (TYB). This represents an umbrella group, comprising Marina San Giusto, Porto San Rocco, as well as Trieste Terminal Passeggeri (TTP), which is to be developed through a series of measures to draw the attention of captains, ship owners and shipping agents, thereby creating an appealing berth alternative to the to-date more popular Eastern Adriatic and Venice.

Working at attracting an ever-increasing number of over-40-meter yachts does not just mean advantaging dock dealers but also companies in the sector: remember that a yacht square meter expense may hit 1 million Euros and maintenance cost per year adds up to 7% of its overall value.”
