Palladium Technologies has supplied its SiMON integrated monitoring, control and alarm solutions for two of Trinity’s latest megayachts, motor yacht Mi Sueño (hull number 45) and M/Y Big Zip (hull number 48).
“Our long-standing relationship with Trinity goes back more than five years,” said Mike Blake, president of Palladium Technologies. “These are the 12th and 13th Trinity megayachts to be fitted with our SiMON systems to monitor and control critical systems aboard the vessels.”
Super yacht Mi Sueno is a 190-foot (57.9-meter) tri-deck motoryacht with interior design by Patrick Knowles. The onboard SiMON system monitors approximately 650 sensor points, including the CAT PL1000E engine, generator, tank system, switchboard and other auxiliary systems. Fully functional monitoring/alarm stations are installed in the pilothouse, owner’s office, captain’s office, crew area, engineer’s cabin and engineering office, as well as audible alarms and alarm acknowledgement panels at strategic locations. A Consilium fire system is also included in the package.
The SiMON system on super yacht BIG ZIP has more than 450 sensor points, including the CAT PL1000E engine, tank system, switchboard, generators and other systems. Monitoring consoles and audible alarms/acknowledgement panels are located in the pilothouse, crew area, engineer’s cabin and engine room. An alarm strobe is also installed in the engine room. M/Y Big Zip is a 142-foot (43.3-meter) aluminum tri-deck motoryacht with interior design by Evan Marshall.
