The ultra-contemporary, sharp and sophisticatedly styled 51-metre motor yacht MySky has been announced as one of the winners at the recent World Superyacht Awards 2015, in the ‘Best Displacement Motor Yachts of 500 GT to 1,299 GT’ category. Built by Heesen Yachts, superyacht MySky boasts elegant and stylish interiors, superbly designed by Erick van Egeraat.
The ultra-modern super yacht MySky represents an extremely comfortable, as well as outstanding and individual design, with crisp snow white marble and pure white leather, starkly contrasting with black materials like high-gloss lacquer and dark-toned Makassar wood. The highlights of this striking vessel include the atrium walls, made of exclusively patterned backlit onyx set in a background of black granite.
Luxury yacht MySky was honoured with a coveted Neptune Trophy thanks to her generous luxury master suite, including a bathroom with full natural stone steam bath and a spacious walk-in closet, in addition to an amazing fully equipped gymnasium, positioned on the sundeck.
Erick van Egeraat comments: “We are very proud of this result. Specifically because this award underlines the fact that we continue to explore new territory and that we lead the way in terms of innovation, craftsmanship and creating quality and value. Each of my projects displays my personal vision, and especially the design of MySky took this to a whole new level. The more someone is aiming for a result which is not particularly standard, the more I get excited. This ship’s design not an ultra-avant-garde design, but it is definitely not conventional. It has been a clear case of how distinct you can be without being, let’s say, in your face, or obnoxious and at all times remaining fully focused on creating maximum satisfaction for our clients.”
