The next edition of the Singapore Yacht Show has more than tripled its on-water exhibitor display in 2013, and is expected to display the latest and greatest that the yachting as well as luxury worlds have to offer.
From the yachting novice, to those who have been boating all their lives, there really is something for everyone at Singapore Yacht Show.
The stellar line up includes Asian Yacht Show debuts by the incredible 57,5m sailing yacht Twizzle and one of the region’s most successful and revered brands Sunseeker (exhibiting the 40m motor yacht Tanvas). They sit alongside international industry heavyweights Sevenstar Yacht Transport, Palmer Johnson, Simpson Marine, Princess Yachts, Aycer Yachts, Westport Yachts, Gulf Craft and show newcomer Hanse Yachts. Local dealerships SGboating, Premium Nautical and Luxury Yachts will also be representing a number of luxury boat brands.

Open day cruisers by Malaysian dealership Pen Marine
The investment in a 50 per cent shareholding of Wider Yachts by Malaysian billionaire Sri Lim Kok Thay at the end of 2012 only reinforces confidence that the Asian yachting market is likely to experience continued growth in coming years.

Italian movie star elegance
Riva is a renowned superyacht and luxury boat brand from Italy. As one of the longest-running builders, their designs are easily identifiable as sleek and elegant. The Riva Venere 75 (example is charter yacht Mavi) will be available at the Singapore Yacht Show for those looking to buy a stylish luxury boat. This boat has recently had a major redesign to increase the internal space and privacy. Whilst the exterior areas boast all the creature comforts for the owner and guests to enjoy the flybridge and rear deck. All this beauty comes with speed. The Riva Venere 75 has a top speed of 32.5 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 29 knots powered by top of the line twin MTU engines.
A true star of the show
The 2012 launched 42-metre motor yacht Star was designed by acclaimed Dutch studio Vripack and built by Chinese shipyard Kingship, based in the in the Guangdong province. Star is the largest superyacht built by Kingship to date and it certainly seems that the Vripack/Kingship partnership is a winning one, with Star picking up an award for Best Asian Yacht Builder at the Asia Boating Awards 2012.
