The building of the 34m Mulder motor yacht BN 100 is progressing as planned. Luxury motor yacht BN 100 is expected to be handed over to her owner in Summer 2015. She will represent the largest vessel Mulder Shipyard built so far, and also their first yacht over 300 GT.
Following the installation of the generators and engines in the hull and the joining of the hull and superstructure last July, work was immediately started on the insulation, pipe work and priming. Most recently the interior fit out has begun. The interior has been pre-fabricated on site at the Mulder Shipyard by the in house team of carpenters. The propulsion system is ready and the last parts of the superstructure have also been delivered, including the deck furniture, hardtop and mast. The construction progress of luxury yacht BN100 is on schedule.
British design agency Claydon Reeves is responsible for both interior and exterior design of the 34 metre full custom built, steel displacement yacht and the naval architecture is the work of the Dutch Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The Mulder 34 metre will be built to superyacht standards. The Mulder has a GT from 315 tons and will be built under RINA LY3, MCA classification and Unlimited Range. She will enjoy many features that are usually only associated with far larger yachts, in both operations and design.
