Monte Fino Europe, the European importer for the Monte Fino range of luxury motoryachts, has reported that the first two of its latest models, including the upgraded motor yacht Monte Fino 76 as well as ecHo 85 superyacht, have recently undergone sea trials in the South China Sea with a great success. The two yachts have since been loaded for transit and are now heading to Europe to make their premiere at the next year’s Boot Düsseldorf.
The Monte Fino 76 yacht is a semi-displacement flybridge vessel with four cabins for owner and guests with a fifth aft for crew. The larger ecHo 85 superyacht has a total of six cabins and is optimised for low-emission, explorer-style cruising. She is designed to operate in isolated locations in a wide variety of sea conditions.
The two yachts demonstrate an unprecedented combination of European technology and design expertise with the Taiwanese work ethic and advanced production techniques. To create luxury craft that appeal to European yachtsmen Kha Shing Yard engaged the services of Rob Humphreys Design from the UK while the interior design is by the Italian Giorgia Drudi, formerly of Ferretti. The interiors of both craft can be fully customised to meet the particular requirements of each owner.
The yachts will be shown to the public for the first time in January 2013 at Boot Düsseldorf.
Kha Shing is one of the most respected names in yacht construction in the Far East with over one thousand yachts built over the past 35 years. The company builds for a number of third party brands as well as the Monte Fino range and its craft can be found across the USA and Europe as well as in its home waters. The yard currently has 12 additional projects in build, including four superyachts of over 30 metres.
