Flexibility is key at the Dutch company Mr Smith Entertainment, offering an integrated system for superyachts. Their newly rebranded website reflects the company’s core philosophy of simplicity as well as user-friendliness.
“Rebranding our website make us easier to find, and we ready to take a next big step in the world of on-board technology and entertainment”, Jacco van der Stelt explains. “Expanding from media content to cabin control, we now offer every guest the most elegant solution for setting their own ambiance by allowing them to not only control their own media content, but also their own environment, and all this, in their own language. We have now made our system available in Russian, as well as a large number of other languages”.
Mr Smith offers an integrated system for superyachts, that allows guests to play their favourite content whenever they please, at the push of a button. Jacco explains, “Our system effortlessly transforms any area into a personalised environment, with flexibility, user-friendliness and affordability as key ingredients. As the most advanced solution in the industry, our modular system combines Apple technology with the lowest possible number of components and an easy-to-use software application for iPad and iPod devices”.
Mr Smith’s system was originally developed from technology used in high-end hotels and theme parks, replacing existing systems that are often too complex, bulky and expensive. Since Mr Smith’s launch, the system has been enthusiastically received by the industry and is currently being used on 5 prominent superyachts.
Inquiries have already been made to implement the system onboard two Italian new builds, 52 metre and 55 metre, and additionally, the Mr Smith system is set to be installed onboard motor yacht YXT, the new Diana Yacht Design superyacht currently under construction at the Lynx Yachts shipyard facilities.
With more projects on the way, Mr Smith is set upon becoming the primary go-to partner in the superyacht industry, for onboard entertainment as well as environment and cabin control.
