This month saw the Dutch shipyard Van der Heijden Yachts, situated in Waalwijk, about half a mile from Wim van der Valk Continental Yachts, start working on their third explorer. Measuring 23m (75’) in length, the vessel will boast the highest quality steel hull. Designed on CE classification A, it will be suitable for transatlantic or long range journeys, while providing all comfort one may expect from a luxury yacht.
CEO Ronald van der Heijden commented: “We were quite confident that the concept of the Explorer has all it takes to match the high standards and evolving needs of both our current and new clients. This third built certainly proves us right.”
