Van der Valk has announced that the 32m/105ft motor yacht JANGADA 2 is nearing completion for delivery in May 2019, in time for the summer cruising season in the Mediterranean.
Built for a repeat client, M/Y JANGADA 2 features several custom aspects which were produced by designers Guido de Groot and Nick Top, placed within a minimalist interior surrounded by whitewashed oak panelling.
The main deck aft is furnished with loose chairs and a table and connects with the main salon by sliding back the curved glass doors. A VIP stateroom is placed on the main deck forward to enjoy excellent views, and the lower deck hosts the full-beam Master suite with large wardrobes and its own office. Three more cabins are located on the lower deck and sleep up to seven adults and children, for a total of 11 guests on board.
The main foyer staircase leads up to the raised pilothouse where guests can dine at the U-shaped seats behind the controls and take in views of magnificent destinations such as Croatia or the Balearic Islands.
The flybridge also has an outdoor helm station, a wet bar and alfresco dining table beneath a hardtop for shade, and sunbathing along the aft. There is plenty of space on board for storing water toys and an 800 kg crane allows for their easy launch and retrieval from the flybridge.
Even more sunbathing can be found on the foredeck, where a sofa and drinks tables sit in front of the VIP stateroom and sun pads cover the bow.
The four previous hulls from the Custom series were 27.2m/89ft THE NEXT EPISODE, the 25m/82ft JANGADA, the 26m/85ft FORUM and 26m/85ft NICOSTASIA, with the shipyard offering customisation up to 40m/131ft in length.
