Holland based studio Van Geest Design, a specialist in luxury yacht design, project management, interior design and exterior styling have developed a new Open 90 yacht Concept. The Open 90 superyacht pursues the interior and exterior interactions on board, extending the living and lounging areas to the exterior in a terrace arrangement.
Sleek lines and 3D volumes of the VGD 90M Open Yacht Concept offers a clean impression resulting in straight forward engineering, keeping it simple to build.
All system and safety equipments are integrated in the lateral bulwarks, while the forward and aft are framed with glass, giving a visual opening to the travelled destination.
The Open 90m motor yacht Concept Bridge Deck has helicopter landing forward of the bridge. Behind the bridge area is the main salon and owner/guest entertaining areas.
The full beam Owner’s suite on the VGD 90M Open Yacht Concept features lateral private balconies that spread over the 360 m2 exclusive private Owner’s deck. The owner suite is connected to the upper deck and features a straight walk through 360 degrees salon and outside lounge.
One possible arrangement Open 90 motor yacht would accommodate 16 guests on the main deck, where the guest lounge area is also found. On the lower deck aft, a spa and wellness area is envisaged, where, at water level, it gives the impression of running on the sea landscape. All tenders & toys are anticipated to be stored forward from the spa, for a user friendly access. The crew areas with space for up to 22 crew will be from mid ship to forward with exclusive service circulation designed to go through all decks.
Variations of this general plan are being studied and detailing undertaken to suit different requests and requirements.
The Open 90m yacht Concept will feature a steel structure. The engine and propulsion systems are yet to be announced.
