Turkish manufacturer of luxury classic motor yachts and superyachts, Vicem Yachts, is delighted to announce the sale and delivery of the new motor yacht 77 Flybridge to her new US Owner. Along with the 77 Flybridge yacht, Vicem Yachts has also sold superyacht 97 Cruiser.
Vicem 77 Flybridge yacht is part of Vicem’s heralded Classic Series of stylish luxury motor yachts that embody a timeless sophistication and flair for elegant boating, yet are relaxed and comfortable enough to truly enjoy.
The 77 FB yacht builds upon Vicem’s distinguished reputation for delivering unmatched style and craftsmanship, which is evident in her striking hull lines and exquisite details. A boat built with total customization during construction, together with the cold-molded method, a unique process of which Vicem Yachts is a world leader.
Hull, decks and superstructures are all in laminated mahogany and assembled by using a specifically formulated epoxy resin. The result is strength, durability and elegance. Thanks to its hull lines, designed to ensure high standards of seaworthiness and low power consumption, the 77 ft 77 Flybridge yacht is a “head turner” for those wishing to embark on more demanding voyages in comfort and safety.
The flybridge level, accessible via the aft built-in circular staircase, is a great place to gather. It features a helm station together with built-in seating and BBQ grill, making for a wonderful “al-fresco” entertainment experience. Two tables with U-shaped settee can host up to eight people that can fully enjoy the view from the top of the yacht while having lunch or drinking a bottle of iced wine.
The main deck is dedicated to the salon and wheelhouse. The aft section has a large cockpit that can welcome eight guests on a cosy L-shape settee, while upon request, a sun pad area on the foredeck and a larger swim platform can be added. Inside, the yacht features what you would expect from the outside: a very large, airy, comfortable marine yacht. The main material is mahogany, chosen to convey a home away from home feeling at sea. A huge and bright salon with two settees for eight people and a lifting table welcome you inside the 77 FB yacht; an LCD screen, an entertainment system and air conditioning will help make life on board easier.
A few steps down to the lower deck you will find ample living accommodations, including a large gourmet galley (cooker with four burners, a freezer, microwave oven and more); the VIP stateroom has a built-in vanity table and king-sized bed, enriched by an entertainment system; then the twin guest cabin with two single beds, and a twin crew cabin (aft of the engine room).
The Master stateroom also offers a king-size bed, an entertainment system and two big windows that give a wonderful view of the water. Each staterooms and the crew cabin have a dedicated head. Clients may opt for a four-stateroom arrangement as well.
Vicem’s unique hand-laid, cold molded, composite hull has been paired with twin 1550 hp each MAN diesels to deliver a smooth ride and exhilarating speeds. The performance of the yacht shouldn’t be underestimated, since the 77 FB yacht can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots, with a cruising speed of 24 knots. Fuel capacity and water capacity are 1,712 gal (6,473 lt.) and 311 gal (1,175 lt.), respectively, while the holding tank contains 286 gal (1080 lt.), allowing a range of 1,000 nm at 10 knots. The areas onboard such as the flybridge, cockpit, saloon, and the dining area create different environments and make the experience on this yacht unforgettable for a maximum of twelve guests.
The cold-molded method
The building technique used to create the luxury yacht 77 FB is the same used for all Vicem Vintage Line (classic/flybridge 55’ to 80’ – cruiser 82’, 97’ and 107’): the cold-molded process. This millenary, unique construction technique is different from any traditional craft building as it is based on engineered wood construction which uses laminated mahogany, coming from managed forests, and a specific formulated epoxy resin to form the hull, decks and principal structures of each yacht. This results in a stronger, quieter and smoother riding vessel with natural insulation from humidity and noise.
