Launched in 2017 as project SHU, the now named mega yacht FLYING FOX has been captured by DrDuu while she was leaving for her maiden voyage towards Stavanger in Norway following the delivery to her Owner. Constructed by Lurssen shipyard and measuring impressive 136 metres (446’2’’), FLYING FOX features beautiful and timeless exterior lines by Espen Oeino while her ultra-luxurious interiors were designed by Mark Berryman.
Built with massive deck areas and an impressive beam of 20.5 metres, she was created with two large helipads with D values, one of 18 metres and the other of 14 metres, providing a landing platform for come of the largest civil helicopters around.
Plenty of recreational areas can be found on board, spreading over six expansive decks and include a huge beach club, a number of exterior dining options, lounging and entertainment areas, as well as Jacuzzi and a pool. Interiors are characterised by soft furnishings, neutral colour scheme and lavish design elements, offering the latest in design, technology, innovation and above all luxurious atmosphere. Accommodation information is yet to be revealed.
FLYING FOX has two MTU Diesel engines, model 16V1163 M84 with a power of 6009hp (4481kW) each and two propellers. She has a volume of 9,100 GT.
