The new Central Yacht motor yacht KlassiK K concept represents a quirky design study, exploiting some of the unique features of traditional design allied to modern efficient space planning. Below is a video introducing the latest 55m Central Yacht superyacht KlassiK K concept.
The main feature of luxury yacht KlassiK K concept is the considerable exterior deck space ideal for summer set parties or people who just like outdoor life.
Swing out the tenders on the boat deck and rig up the awnings and you have a covered area of marquee dimensions and a further open area on the sun deck promenade.
The grand spiral central staircase is the heart of the KlassiK K yacht with a skylight and glazed lobby on the sun deck filtering light down 4 decks to the guest lobby.
The authentic cowled engine room vents not only give a touch of nostalgia but also give more space to the main deck salon whilst reducing the intrusive noise fans produce.
With four identical guest cabins on the lower deck, a palatial owner’s suite forward on main deck and a generous VIP forward on the upper deck the sleeping accommodation is impressive for a 55m yacht of any age.
As with all designs from the Central Yacht creative director, Paul Brackley, the crew circulation is a masterpiece of design with the practical elimination of wasted space in corridors with the resultant improved efficiency of crew movement.
KlassiK K superyacht retro modern style does not imitate the past but expresses some themes in a modern more functional way. Undoubtedly the K will look just as contemporary in 30 years time as she does today.
