Superyacht spotter and photographer, Kees Torn, has provided us with the videos and photos of the unique 78-metre mega yacht VENUS (Project Aqua, hull 684), launched by the leading Dutch maker Feadship last year. Featuring naval architecture by De Voogt, the breath-taking motor yacht VENUS has been self-designed by late Steve Jobs, in partnership with Philippe Starck. Below is a video and photos of VENUS, leaving the building hall at the Feadship De Vries facility in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, on October 28, 2012.
The sleek and minimalist 78-metre Feadship custom yacht VENUS was named after the Greek-Roman goddess of love and beauty. She features teak decks and floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the main living areas, similar to Apple Store designs. Among other special features of this modern and beautiful vessel belong seven 27-inch iMac computers, which can be found in the wheelhouse.
Deluxe accommodation aboard the 256-foot luxury yacht VENUS is offered to 12 guests in total. They are looked after by a numerous crew of 22 members, sleeping in 14 crew cabins.
