Vilanova Grand Marina announced the launch of a new programme of sport and leisure activities for captains and crew staying at its facilities during autumn and winter. The marina, in its commitment to ensure the maximum satisfaction of its guests, will organise monthly activities offering its customers an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and discover some of the most popular Catalan traditions, especially in regards to food and wine, as well as some of the most outstanding sceneries in Catalonia.
The autumn and winter programme includes activities such as wine tasting and guided tours to the vineyards and wineries of the neighbouring region of Penedès, home of the best Catalan wines and cavas; outdoor barbecues and calçots (a traditional leek•type onion cooked on a barbecue), and skiing in the Pyrenees. These activities are offered from October to February. The marina plans to launch two programmes a year with an array of interesting activities appropriate for each month of the year.
Ignacio Erroz, General Manager of Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona comments:
“We want our guests to have an unforgettable experience when berthing at our marina and to feel a member of our small community. This is why we came up with several activities that will help them get to know each other and enjoy some of the best things Catalonia has to offer without worrying about organising it themselves.”
