The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show team will expand its exclusive VIP Lounge concept at this year’s event, following on from its successful premiere last year. The 2014 Boat Show will run next month.
Catering to visitors seeking the premium experience with ‘access all areas’ entitlements, the SCIBS VIP pass includes exclusive access to the comfort of the SCIBS VIP Lounge, valet parking, food and beverages catered by the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and an abundance of luxury extras courtesy of Mulpha and SCIBS partners.
Sponsored by Maritimo, with EuroMarque Maserati Brisbane, Ocean and Sails Magazines as partners, Mulpha Sanctuary Cove head of events, Johan Hasser said the return of the VIP Lounge was a testament to its popularity in 2013, along with the invaluable networking opportunities the lounge provided.
“The VIP pass was a concept we saw flourish at last year’s show which provided serious shoppers and business visitors a chance to relax or conduct business with similar-minded patrons, so it only seemed fitting to see it return for the second year,” said Mr Hasser.
“Amongst the hustle and bustle of the show, the VIP Lounge offers an exclusive space for visitors to relax and unwind, and the special access pass provides an added convenience for visitors who have a limited schedule or are shopping for something in particular.
“Many of the VIP’s from last year’s show were there strictly for business which made the Lounge a hive of activity for liaising and networking which is vital at events as big as SCIBS.”
Major sponsor Maritimo’s Greg Haines said the VIP Lounge was a fantastic concept that Maritimo was proud to be associated with.
“The SCIBS VIP Lounge adds a great luxury networking element to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show,” he said.
“It was well received by our VIP guests last year and we are happy to be in support of it in 2014.”
With Euromarque Maserati Brisbane back on board as luxury VIP Lounge partner, dealer principal Greg Willims said he was delighted to be back supporting the show in its 26th year.
“Our luxury supercars go hand in hand with the Boat Show, so it was obvious for Maserati to make a return this year given the popularity we attracted in 2013,” said Mr Willims.
“Venues like the SCIBS VIP Lounge offer a great opportunity to network during these events, many of our clients enjoyed the luxury of the Lounge, and it was a really nice way to look after our distinguished guests.”
One of the most renowned names in the boating industry and publisher of luxury boating and yachting titles, Ocean Media has also come on board as a partner for this year’s VIP Lounge.
Ocean Media director and editor-in-chief Hillary Buckman, said the Ocean Media team was proud to be sponsoring such a major event for the Australian marine industry.
“We are very excited to be amongst many of the high profile brands associated with the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and to be a partner of the VIP Lounge,” said Ms Buckman.
“The VIP Lounge is a great concept and we look forward to a successful boat show at Sanctuary Cove.”
Sanctuary Cove’s general manager of sales, John Hughes said the VIP Lounge also provided an opportunity for high end visitors to discover the unique house and land options available at Sanctuary Cove, with the iconic luxury brands of Mulpha showcased in synergy with the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.
“The VIP Lounge offers an invaluable opportunity to showcase all of Mulpha’s high end brands to a distinguished target market and educate these visitors on the exciting lifestyle opportunity that could be theirs permanently at Sanctuary Cove,” said Mr Hughes.
One day VIP passes are priced from $149 and are available for purchase online.
